When we talk about mobility, Brazil ended 2010 with over 200 million mobile phone users and more than 20.9 million customers using the mobile
Internet services, according to SindTeleBrasil.

Currently, it is believed that the telecommunications industry has four main trends:

• Mobile - in some developed countries the penetration rates of mobile communication has now exceeded 100%. Over the next two years, there will be 5 billion mobile subscribers worldwide - more than 80% of global population.

• VOIP - revenues from traditional voice services are saturated and, with the emergence and adoption of mobile communications, we have seen a gradual decline of these revenues. Mobile broadband, however, is living its golden age. In 2014, the number of mobile broadband subscribers has grown 10 times, reaching about 3 billion.

• Cloud Computing - the convergence of telecommunications with technology permitted a strong tendency to use cloud computing platform and storage in the cloud. This solution influences the industry as a whole, to quench the need of users and providers of software and hardware to purchase equipment or software.

Since cloud computing depends on service providers reliable and secure, the cloud offers great opportunities for operators. Upon entering the cloud computing market, operators can increase their network and advantages for its subscribers to create new value added services and experiences to integrate content and applications industry.

Furthermore, they can develop new business models that capitalize on their own bases related to user information such as data mining and advertising platform. The cloud is a key area for operators who want to go further.

• Digital TV – the increase on broadband penetration will create über connected homes and home networks. The network of residence is made of several components, including entertainment media (TV), communications (computers and mobile devices) and video surveillance. The TV has experienced the most revolutionary transformation with the development of several traditional ways of consuming content on demand and online. It is not difficult for the traditional TV and DVD distribution model will become obsolete in the next decade.

The European Union has in its report "Internet of 2020" that in the next 10 years the TV channels will be distributed along with other Internet services and there won’t be broadcast by satellite and terrestrial anymore - except in isolated areas. In the past decade we have witnessed the convergence of telecommunications and internet. Next time we will see the convergence of broadcast, TV and internet.

Faced with this growing industry trend of convergence of technologies, and high regulation, the firm is dedicated to constantly study on the sector and monitor trends, offering modern and innovative solutions in developing structures for all its sub-segments (fixed, mobile communication, multimedia communication, cable TV, broadcasting, other telecommunication services).
